Vall?edu Paradis, Paradise Valley, is the name given to the hilly landscape south of Carcassonne. Two legendary red wines ripen in the Mediterranean climate of these high altitudes: Fitouand Corbi?res. The Corbi?res “Johan de Barrou”, awarded with gold, inspires with its blueberry fruit and Mediterranean herbal spice. The Fitou is considered the even better terroir – especially when grapes from old vines matured in new barriques as in the also highly awarded “S?lection Vieilles Vignes”.
